Senior Conservation Scientist
Mary started her career with The Nature Conservancy in 1995 as part of the Great Lakes Program. She then served the organization-wide Freshwater Initiative for five years. Her focus returned to the Great Lakes in 2003 and that continues in her role as a member of the Michigan Chapter’s science team and the lead for the Conservancy’s Great Lakes Project Aquatic Connectivity strategy.
Mary is a graduate of Yale University where she majored in History and Studies in the Environment. She also holds a M.S. from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment.
