Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024.  FLN Networker No. 205

3/2/2016
Issue #205 (2 March 16) of the FLN Networker and its attachments. This issue includes news from landscapes, people and projects in California, New Jersey and Oregon, as well as a link to the semi-annual report for the PERFACT agreement (covering the FLN, FAC Net, TREX and SPER). It also has links to the NFPA guide Design with Fire in Mind, an American Forest Foundation report on Western water and private lands, a research brief on a review of smoke modeling, an article on how mapping approaches can affect estimates of community wildfire risk, and a short article on the kinds of stupid mistakes we make. As always, listings are included for webinars; FLN and FAC Net workshops; FLN Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges; and conference, workshop and training opportunities.
Attached to this issue is a Notes from the Field about a Faciliative Leadership workshop in the FireScape Mendocino landscape, as well as an outreach flyer for a VISTA volunteer position in the Chama landscape of northern New Mexico.
