Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024.  FLN Networker No. 155

4/2/2014

Issue #155 (2 April 2014) of the FLN Networker, and its attachments. This issue includes news from landscapes, people and projects in Arkansas, California, Nebraska, North Carolina and Virginia, as well as a couple of important pieces of news from the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network (new member communities, and a new blog). It also includes links to a website gathering comments for the quadrennial fire review, a library of basic Miradi results chains, articles on spatial optimization of treatments and breeding bird response to habitat variables, and two major reports on climate change (from AAAS and IPCC).  As always, listings are included for webinars; FLN workshops; and training, conference and workshop opportunities.

Attached are two FLN Notes from the Field, about the most recent FireScape Mendocino workshop and a SPER cooperative burn in the Central Applachians FLN. There is also a report from Zambian land management staff that visited Arkansas in a learning exchange last month, and the flyer for the upcoming Fire Science Field Day hosted by partners in the California Klamath-Siskiyou.
