Overview

The Caribbean Science Atlas provides access to key datasets for download, decision support tools, and StoryMaps highlighting TNC’s latest work in the region. Explore decision support tools for climate adaptation, climate mitigation, coral restoration and management, and marine protection. The Coral Reef Explorer and Blue Carbon Explorer guide investments in coral and mangrove restoration to enhance ecosystem service benefits for the 44 million people who call the Caribbean home. The 30x30 Roadmap serves to guide protection towards achieving 30% protection of land, freshwater, and marine space regionally. The Coastal Resilience DST provides access to cost-benefit analyses for reef and mangrove restoration in terms of coastal protection value. Users can explore and download data from an extensive spatial library, spanning topics from socioeconomic conditions and infrastructure to ecological resources and climate-related hazards.
