Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. If you’re interested in learning more about the project, reach out to megan.sheehan@tnc.org for more info!
The Nature Conservancy and its partners have completed over 150 ecoregional assessments around the world over the past 20 years. The Ecoregional Assessment Status Tool (EAST) is The Conservancy's online repository of the assessment reports resulting from The Nature Conservancy's Conservation by Design planning methodology.

EAST provides TNC conservation practitioners with a repository for storing and sharing their work, and provides our staff, partners and the conservation community with access to this information resource.

All of the assessment reports are located below and this content replaces that previously located on east.tnc.org. There are several ways to view the reports:

  • Click on the column titles - Project Name, Date, Ecoregion Type, Region - to sort the results by each category:

  • Click on the report title in the Project Name column to access additional information like assessment report status and content, appendices, maps, and to contact practitioners.
