Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. FLN Notes from the Field are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network. This issue (#31) summarizes the media outreach successes of the international prescribed fire training exchange (TREX) held in New Mexico in September-October 2012. It highlights some lessons learned that are applicable to fire practitioners. Includes a list of media placements for the event, ranging from local radio to a New York Times blog entry.
