Poll Shows Support for Watershed Forest Restoration

The Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project (AFR)—located within the Rogue Basin FLN landscape—contracted with Mark Shibley (Southern Oregon University) to study Ashland residents’ attitudes toward, and understanding of, forest restoration issues. They found a high level of support for fuel reduction goals as well as the tools commonly used to accomplish fuel reduction in this region. Highlights of the study are summarized in this FLN Stories from the Field.
