Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. In addition to organizing and hosting Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (TREX), members of the TREX Coaches Network work in their daily jobs and home units on various ways to build the workforce capacity needed for prescribed fire to be used at the scale needed to meet our fire management challenges. Based in landscapes and communities across the country (and beyond), they are developing, adopting, adapting and and/or expanding various means of expanding and enriching the prescribed fire workforce.
Some of these strategies, tactics and practices are being collected in this series of introductory briefs.
