A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. Notes from the Field
 are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network, Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network, Indigenous Peoples Burning Network and Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges.
The 2019 burn week was the most successful to date, bringing together 81 participants from 34 agencies and organizations. In addition to an overview of the event, and its participants and accomplishments, this report includes a description of the live medical emergency scenario conducted with fire personnel, the local emergency management agency, dispatch and first responders.
