Description

In cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management, The Nature Conservancy gathered data from multiple sources to assemble a state-wide database of indicators of groundwater-dependent ecosystems (iGDEs) in Nevada. The Nevada iGDE database includes phreatophyte communities, wetlands, springs, lakes and playas, rivers and streams, and groundwater-dependent species. This report describes the methods used to develop and publish the database and associated Nevada iGDE story map.
