Landscape Conservation Forecasting
Landscape Conservation Forecasting (LCF) was created by The Nature Conservancy in Nevada to help land managers with stewardship of large landscapes. LCF helps to make current and future protection and restoration decisions based on reference, current and desired future conditions, and budget constraints. This collection shares the LCF Handbook as well as reports from projects that have used LCF.

This handbook explains the origin, purpose, methodology, and next steps of LCF. The methodology was used to map large western landscapes and simulate proposed actions for restoration of systems found mostly on public lands.
