Measures Brownbag: Show Me the Numbers – Effectively Communicating Measures Results

link VIEW LINK: Link

This link takes you to a recorded internet-based presentation from Thursday March 15th from 1:00-1:30pm ET by Dan Salzer of The Nature Conservancy, entitled,  “Show Me the Numbers – Effectively Communicating Measures Results.”  If you have ever struggled with how to effectively communicate your measures results to managers and funders, this brownbag is for you.

Did you know that there is a growing body of literature on dashboard design and effective communication of measures?  Dan took a deep dive into this pool of literature to inform our efforts to develop engaging and effective dashboard displays of our global priorities’ measures progress and results. On the 15th he will surface and share a synthesis of the best of this emerging field. The Brownbag was followed by an optional 30 minute in-depth discussion of data visualization and reporting.

The Measures Brownbag series hosts occasional half-hour informal presentations on measures at work for conservation on-the-ground and in-the-water at The Nature Conservancy.
