Guidelines for negotiating social research in communities living adjacent to transboundary protected areas: Kruger National Park

These guidelines were developed through participatory workshops near Kruger N.P., South Africa to assist local people and social researchers (and their institutions) to negotiate and develop workable and ethical agreements for social research. The guidelines outline opportunities and constraints that arise when local people and social researchers engage one another and provide principles and practical guidelines for social research in local communities.
