MyGateway helps you keep current with your favorite topics and content on Conservation Gateway. We took care to streamline these new features, ensuring they are pragmatic and easy to use. Once signed in to your MyGateway account you can:
Follow Topics
Following topics adds content from each topic to your MyGateway activity feed. You can manage followed topics centrally and easily.
Bookmark content
Bookmarking content gives you a single-location to store links to the pages you reference most. Bookmarked pages are quickly viewed on your MyGateway page. Use this feature for easy access to materials you use frequently or items you want to read at a later time.
Comment on Posts
You can join the conversation and share your opinions with the rest of the Conservation Gateway community by commenting on all blog posts.
MyGateway allows you to personalize your experience on Conservation Gateway. A user account is the best way to save your preferences. We explored other options, such as cookies, but each alternative had limitations. We recognize that you might be weary of creating user accounts, so we included the option to sign in or register with your existing Facebook or LinkedIn account.
We recognize that you might be weary of creating user accounts, so we included the option to sign in or register with your existing Facebook or LinkedIn account. Using either of these options will give you immediate access to the Conservation Gateway and will not share any other information that you have on Facebook or LinkedIn.
At this time, your profile, list of bookmarks, and topics followed are private and viewable only by you. We plan to make these features more "social" in a future release of MyGateway.
