The Fire Learning Network publishes several types of publications intended to give an overview of activities and share lessons learned. In addition to the bi-weekly FLN Networker newsletter, current publications are the USFLN Field Guide, FLN Dispatch and FLN Stories from the Field. All back issues of each publication are available online; descriptions of each, along with search suggestions, follow.

USFLN Field Guide, published annually since 2007, gives an overview of the entire Network, along with information on the regional networks and landscapes—including their goals, challenges and accomplishments. (latest edition)

Webinars on a variety of topics of interest to Network members and other practitioners are presented approximately bimonthly, with recordings of the presentations and ensuing discussions archived. (INDEX)

Notes from the Field are short, illustrated summaries of FLN and training activities such as workshops, training exchanges and field tours. (INDEX)

FLN Dispatches are single-page summaries of a project, workshop or a regional network or landscape’s progress. Each has contact information for learning more about the issue covered. These can easily be searched by topic, state or by regional network or landscape.

FLN Stories from the Field are longer pieces that go into more depth on a subject. They usually contain more information than an FLN Dispatch about the network or landscape being featured, such as its vision and a list of partners. These can also be searched by topic, state or by regional network or landscape.
