LANDFIRE maps the current succession classes, or the ontogenetic stages, of Biophysical Settings (BpS). For many users, the S-class product may be sufficient as delivered, but in other cases, users may choose to modify it or create their own S-class grid. This guide describes the four-part process to adapt LANDFIRE products to specific landscapes.
