Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. 3/16/2016
Issue #206 (16 March 16) of the FLN Networker and its attachments. This issue includes news from landscapes, people and projects in California, Nebraska, New Mexico and North Carolina, as well as from the Burned Area Learning Network, FAC Net and Indigenous Peoples Burning Network, and the FAC Net CWPP community of practice. It also has links to a Headwaters Economics map of communities frequently impacted by wildfire, a revised version of the LANDFIRE Data Access Tool and the Proceedings of the Large Wildfires Conference. As always, listings are included for webinars; FLN and FAC Net workshops; FLN Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges; and conference, workshop and training opportunities.
Attached to this issue are two Notes from the Field—one about the January workshop of the Indigenous Peoples Burning Network, and another on a recent webinar meeting of the CWPP CoP—as well as an outreach flyer for a USFS fire ecologist position and a workshop flyer for the April gathering of FireScape Mendocino.
