Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. ​Issue #139 (21 August 13) of the FLN Networker, and its attachment. This issue includes news from landscapes, people and projects in California, Georgia, Iowa, Montana and the Southern Blue Ridge region, as well as the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network, and has links to fact sheets from the PERC semi-annual report.  It also includes requests for participation in social media related to the Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy and a survey about Conservation Gateway, and links to resources about fire adapted communities and articles on prescribed fire, tree mortality, climate and fire severity, and state legal structures regarding wildfire mitigation in the WUI. As always, listings of webinars; FLN workshops; and training, conferences and workshop opportunities are included.
